Nestled in the heart of Adamstown, Nags Head Hotel is a delightful blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who made check-in a breeze, escorting us to our air-conditioned room that was impeccably clean and furnished with premium bedding - a cozy sanctuary after a day of exploring. The lively atmosphere downstairs, complete with a top-notch bar and restaurant, provided the perfect backdrop for unwinding, especially with a few handcrafted cocktails that showcased the local spirit. Though the shared bathrooms were a bit of a throwback for a hotel stay, they were surprisingly clean and well-maintained, which made the experience quite charming. The best part? The overall vibe of the place was inviting, making it an excellent choice for both relaxing rejuvenation and as a base for adventures around Newcastle. With my partner accompanying me, we had a wonderful time soaking up the atmosphere; I can't wait to return, especially when visiting my son at university!
